Donor Program

Donor Program

For some, the journey to parenthood needs the help of an egg or sperm donor. Others may not be able to carry a pregnancy. At Henry Fertility we offer third-party reproduction options that help these couples achieve the dream of having a family. Henry Fertility works with patients who may need to use an egg donor, sperm donor, or gestational carrier to achieve a successful pregnancy.

Our in-house egg donor program allows patients to feel completely at ease, knowing we conduct an extensive medical and emotional screening process on all of our donors. When the time comes to select a donor, our team will personally guide you through the process, offering information to help you and your partner select the right candidate for your particular situation.

Becoming an Egg Donor

As an egg donor, you can make dreams come true. You help bridge the gap between childlessness and parenthood, bringing joy to couples that have endured the pain of infertility. Henry Fertility admires and respects you women who choose to become egg donors. We provide exemplary care during the egg donation process.

As an egg donor, your gift of life should and will be fairly compensated. Most importantly, Henry Fertility wants you to know that there is absolutely no cost to you if you choose to be a donor.

For more information about our Donor Process, please call us at 317-817-1800 option 4.

Donor Sperm

Henry Fertility is not a sperm bank and does not except donations from anonymous donors, however, the use of donor sperm can allow patients to succeed with pregnancy in cases where the partner’s sperm count is low.  Other scenarios in which donor insemination might be used include: treatment for a single woman/same-sex couple or if the male partner carries a genetic defect that he would not want to pass on to his children.

Sperm banks (where donor sperm can be found) typically have an extensive medical history on the donor as well as his family.  It is common to obtain detailed information about education, appearance, hobbies, and interests about the donor.

Donor sperm can be used for artificial insemination (where sperm is placed in the uterus around the time of ovulation) or with in vitro fertilization (IVF).  Your doctor can help you to decide what treatment option would be best for your particular case.
